Guidelines for Parents
As a County we encourage parents, families and friends to come along and support Junior Girls at events whenever they can. However, we do insist that you follow the following Do's and Don't.
- DO NOT
Caddie or
tend the flag
Give any on-course advice or rulings. Advice can only be given by Team Managers and rulings can only be provided by a referee.
Walk on Fairways or Greens and always spectate from the sidelines.
Get closer than the County
operated 25 yard rule. You must not be
within that distance of the players at any time. If you do so, you risk the player being penalised.
- DO
Encourage and show your appreciation of good shot and from
any player.
Ball spot. This is always a great help in speeding up play. Do be mindful though of the 25 yard rule.
Help your daughter to prepare; nutrition, hydration, sanitary products, the correct equipment (particularly packing layers and waterproofs), yardage charts, marked balls etc.
