Safeguarding

Sussex County Ladies Golf Association Ltd (SCLGA Ltd) is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for all individuals involved in golf and we seek to promote the principles of safeguarding in all that we do. We not only take the protection of children and young people very seriously but we have a similar duty of care to adults at risk. We retained our SafeGolf accredited status on 1 September 2023 for a further year.

In 2011 Sussex Golf Partnership reviewed its Safeguarding Policy and Procedures and in June 2012 a unified policy and procedures document was adopted by the Sussex Golf Partnership, the Sussex County Ladies Golf Association and the Sussex County Golf Union, named 'The Sussex Golf Safeguarding Policy and Procedures Document.
