Autumn 9 Challenge - Competition Report

On a windy but thankfully dry afternoon, the Autumn 9 Challenge was hosted today at Brighton & Hove Golf Club. Representing 8 golf clubs, 11 teams of ladies took part in a fun 9 hole team Stableford, followed by a very enjoyable cream tea. 

The course was in fabulous condition, considering the rain over the previous 24 hours, and all the ladies present commented on how much they enjoyed the challenge that the course presented. 

Results

1st place: Penny Hutchings, Suzi Holmes and Katie Birchenough from Cowdray Park. 

2nd place: Jane Jones & Mandy Tyler from Dyke GC and Janet Crome from Hollingbury Park.

Our thanks goes to the Brighton & Hove Ladies President, Judy Snell for welcoming the players as they arrived and particular thanks to Lindsay Stoner for her assistance and support in ensuring the day ran smoothly.
